Garbage must be in clear plastic bags, inside garbage cans; recyclable aluminum, plastic and glass must be cleaned and placed in a bin or a clear plastic bag; newspapers should be placed in a paper bag or bound together; shredded paper should be placed in a clear plastic bag; cardboard boxes must be broken down, bound together and must be no bigger than 3' x 3' to fit in the recycling truck. All items may be placed by the curb no earlier than the evening before your scheduled pick up.

Garbage containers shall be made of metal or rigid plastic and shall not be larger than 33 gallons by volume or 75 pounds by weight.

Used batteries and ink cartridges can be recycled at Village Hall.

Collection Schedule:

Monday - South Side including Peterboro Street
Tuesday - North Side

Trash pick up may be delayed on the following holidays:

New Years Day
Memorial Day
4th of July
Labor Day
Christmas Day

If the holiday falls on a Monday, trash pick up for the South side will be on Tuesday and the North side will be on Wednesday.

If the holiday falls on a Tuesday, trash pick up for the North side will be on Wednesday. Will not affect the South side pick up.
