Greater Lenox Ambulance Service, incorporated in 1972 as an all volunteer; independently run organization is based in the Village of Canastota. This service is fully equipped with two state of the art advanced life support ambulances and is staffed 24 hours per day by a combination of NYS certified volunteer and paid personnel that provide advanced life support care to the Villages of Canastota and Wampsville in addition to the Towns of Lenox and Lincoln.
